The Unexpected Consequences of Iron Overload - A spoof, romantic, humorous thriller created as an ice-breaker. It narrates the story of Jimmy Kavanagh, who has a genetic condition that causes him to absorb and store more iron from his diet than his body needs. Unaware of this, he gradually exhibits unusual traits such as oxidation (rusting), magnetisation, and especially strong bones, as excess iron is stored in the bone marrow. Through various childhood experiences, he recognises that he's different but doesn't understand why. After a pivotal event where he saves Barbara, the woman of his dreams, from possible death, he realises he can control his magnetism. His life takes a further turn when he attracts the attention of the KGB, who are interested in paranormal phenomena, and the CIA, determined to thwart the Russians.
